Such a unique vintage barware piece! This Japanese musical decanter set is designed as an old-fashioned fire wagon, complete with large metal wheels, a rich red body, brass-tone details and amber glassware. 🚒
The set includes a large amber pressed glass decanter with pour spout and six amber glasses, all displayed directly on the wagon. The red interior is lined in a soft velvet-like material, and the wagon has a built-in musical mechanism underneath. The winding knob is marked Japan.
Vintage and pre-owned with age-related wear throughout, including patina/tarnishing and surface wear to the metal components. All components are original to the set except for the decanter pour spout/stopper assembly, which has been replaced. The original assembly was plastic and had deteriorated with age, causing it to disintegrate when removed for cleaning. The replacement fits securely and allows the decanter to remain functional. Please review photos closely for overall condition.
