Pretty antique porcelain hair receiver dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, made in Germany. Featuring soft yellow roses, delicate green leaves, and gold trim. The scalloped lid has a center opening, while the base features a lovely raised design and decorative feet. 🌹
Historically used on Victorian and Edwardian dressing tables to collect hair from brushes. Today, it makes a perfect addition to any antique vanity display or can be beautifully repurposed to store cotton balls, bath crystals, or small jewelry items. The mold and hand painted design are highly reminiscent of the RS Prussia / RS Germany style of the era, though the piece is marked only 'Germany' on the bottom.
